Description:
On oasis in the desert, this highly acclaimed Thomson-Wolveridge layout has been compared with famous courses around Palm Springs in California. The fairways are paspalum, a salt water tifdwarf, pure couch and the greens are fast, undulating and true. There is no shortage of sand for the beautifully formed bunkers that adorn the layout. Golfers who have experienced desert golf know the sensation of seeing the white ball contrast against the dark green fairway, the red rock and the blue sky. The course opened in 1985 with a match play exhibition in which Greg Norman defeated Johnny Miller. In 1996 Adam Scott & Aaron Baddeley played in the Aust Junior Championship.

Club House: full locker facilities, showers, bar, bistro.

Green Fees: $78, $40 nine holes (If Guide is presented on day of play a 30% discount will be afforded on green fees. Not applicable to bookings made through tour operators or hotel bookings)
