Practice fairway and green
Description:
A picturesque layout nestled beneath Mt Wellington. The first fairway plunges dramatically downhill, the course then winds alongside coastal and river flats. Excellent grass greens, lightly bunkered, several holes are played across Brown's River. A mechanical inclinator elevates golfers back to the eighteenth tee. Many grand old trees - blackwoods, birches, willows and cottonwoods. The course is a proclaimed wildlife sanctuary. Has hosted many major State/National events and was founded in 1922. Strict dress code. Mens Comp. Wed & Sat 7 - 1pm Ladies Comp. Tues & Thur 8 - 11am Visitors welcome to enter comps. Bookings advised.
Club House: showers and lockers available. Catering 6 days from 11am (Tues - Sun.)
