Nine Aussies to tee off at US Open

Nine Australians will do battle for the 113th US Open title this week when the tournament kicks off at the historic Merion Golf Club in Pennsylvania.
Adam Scott, Geoff Ogilvy, Jason Day, Marc Leishman and John Senden were all automatic qualifiers while Marcus Fraser, Mathew Goggin, Alistair Presnell and Aaron Baddeley all made it through sectional qualifying.
Baddeley will be the first Australian on the course, hitting off at 7.29am Thursday local time (9.29pm Eastern Australian time) with Rory Sabbatini and David Lingmerth.
An all Australian grouping of Marc Leishman, John Senden and Marcus Fraser will hit off at 3am Friday Australian time.
Other groupings and starting times are:

Geoff Ogilvy, Angel Cabrera, Paul Lawrie (2.41am Fri)
Adam Scott, Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy (3.14am Fri)
Mathew Goggin, Steve Alker, Alistair Presnell (4.35am Fri)

The US Open will be shown on FOX Sports play and FOX Sports 2HD at the following times: Friday: Round One, Fox Sports 2 HD 3am-9am, Saturday: Round Two, Fox Sports 2 HD 3am-9am, Sunday: Round Three, Fox Sports Play 3am-9.30am, Fox Sports 2 HD 6am-12 noon, Monday: Round Four, Fox Sports 2 HD 3am-9.30am.
