2009 US MASTERS Tour Reflections from Augusta National - Read Selwyn Berg's experience at the US Masters |
|
Upon his retirement from championship golf in 1930, Bobby Jones had hoped to realise his dream of building a golf course that was simple but challenging, and along with Clifford Roberts they planned to hold an annual ‘gathering of friends’ starting in 1934. What developed were Augusta National Golf Club and the US Masters, two of the greatest golfing icons ever created.
You can experience the US Masters in the best possible way, starting with The Par 3 tournament on the final practice day – the only chance to photograph the 'hallowed turf' of ANGC. Following this will be 4 days of all the history, excitement and awe the US Masters has to offer. See how hard Amen Corner is for yourself or why so many have come so close but missed by so far. Will an Australian finally win the coveted Green Jacket? You can be there in the front row to find out.

Augusta's intimidating and immaculate Amen Corner - the 11th and 12th.
The US Masters at Augusta National Golf Club is the premium event in world sport. By far the hardest ticket to obtain however set in the most beautiful setting imaginable it is the most rewarding experience you can imagine.
