Former World number 1 Jason Day had a promising return to form at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am, recording a Top 10 finish. He’s been working on a new swing in order to protect the constant back injuries he has been enduring over the past few years. Four rounds in the 60s indicates it may be working.
The event was won by American Daniel Berger, while all eyes were focused on Jordan Spieth. Winless since 2017 he was right in the weekend action finally finishing T3.
Other Australians to record good results were Cameron Davis (T14, -10) and Cameron Percy (T21, -8). Matt Jones (T34) and John Senden (T39) also made the cut.
