After spending a Sunday at the Olympics following Jason Day and Min Woo Lee, Australian Women’s Golf Olympic representatives Hannah Green and Minjee Lee get set for their turn to chase Gold.

The same venue – Le Golf National – is playing host for the Women’s event after the men’s competition, with Scottie Scheffler taking home the big prize.

With the first day’s play completed overnight, Aussie Minjee Lee shares T7 after a competitive one under 71. Hometown hero Celine Boutier shot a blistering -7 65 to head the field, with South Africa’s Ashleigh Buhai in second place on -4.
