Starting the FedEx Cup season finale six shots behind the leader and World #1 Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIIroy picked up the $18 million prize with a closing 66 (-4) to overtake Scheffler and Sungjae Im. Scheffler was not headed until the 70th hole and his final round 73 (+1) was full of what ifs and what could have been.
Two Aussies made the final but were never in serious contention, with Cameron Smith finishing in 20th of the elite 30 man field, while Adam Scott was back in 25th position.
