We were saddened to learn of Bob Shearer’s passing early this week (Sunday Jan 9). We'd crossed paths a number of times and even enjoyed a round of golf with him at Southern Golf Club a few years back. He was personable, entertaining and great company. He shared stories of days past, offered course advice and he still hit a mean ball.
We know his wife Kathie too, a lovely lady and a great operator at the press tents set up for media and alike. Condolences to Kathie and family on their loss – one far too soon.
