About the Courses

Seatemple Links Port Douglas - Open and undulating, The Links is special - the only tropical links in the world. Built by Michael Wolveridge of Thomson, Wolveridge & Perrett, on land reclaimed from the sea, the course conjures up the characteristics of traditional British links. Small bunkers abound. Bump-and-run is the name of your game on this golf course, which has been more "crafted" than built on the sand blown open coastal land adjacent to the Coral Sea. Unlike British links, players here discover a brilliant segment of pristine tropical rainforest, which completely divides the site and provides a splendid reminder of the superior pleasure of playing links golf under warm tropical skies. Green Lees Park couch fairways and hard Bermuda 328 greens, with the same grass extended over humps and bumps on the surrounds.

Paradise Palms - Tough championship layout designed by Marsh & Watson with undulating fairways groomed to perfection and large testing greens. Six lakes, with water in play on several holes and 94 bunkers make for an unforgettable golfing experience. Several creeks run across the course from the surrounding tropical rainforest which provides a dramatic backdrop to many holes.
