Long Island merger with The National

Long Island course now part of The National Golf Club

Widely regarded as one of Melbourne's hidden treasures..........Long Island is a golfer's dream come true. Long Island's ti-tree lined couch fairways and immaculate greens make this 18 hole, par 72 golf course a memorable experience. Established in 1938, Long Island Country Club, at the gateway to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, offers the challenge and pleasure of a true traditional "sand belt" golf course.

In late 2014 a merger between Long Island Country Club and the National Golf Club was finalised, creating  Australia's first 72 hole private membership golf club.
