2020 GOLF Course Guide's Top 100 Courses revealed

Dec 3, 2019

The 2020 GOLF Course Guide has just been released and with it comes the announcement of the annual Top 100 course rankings. Cape Wickham links (pictured above) on King Island, Tasmania has held top spot on the list since first opening four years ago, and with conditioning continuing to improve this stunning design by Mike DeVries and Darius Oliver still commands great respect.
Tasmania is once again home to Australia’s Top 3 public access courses, with Barnbougle Dunes and Barnbougle Lost Farm holding #2 and #3 respectfully. With Ocean Dunes coming in at #7 (up two places), Tasmania really is the Apple Isle when it comes to golf in Australia – four Top 10 courses reside in our southernmost state.
Rounding out the Top ten are; The Dunes (4), Barwon Heads (5), Kennedy Bay (6), St Andrews (8), Joondalup (9) and Thirteenth Beach – Beach Course (10).
The list is always debated and critiqued, however there is no arguing that it is a fine list of courses and we’re very lucky to be able to access them all!
