Professional golf will be played in Australia this weekend and it will be televised over three days (Fri-Sun) in a boom for the women’s game.
The New South Wales and the Coffs Coast region is set for the 2022 Australian Women's Classic, which returns to the Bonville Golf Resort this Thursday (April 23)
Australia's top female professionals and a host of talented amateurs will be hoping to emulate the feats of 2020 Champion, St. Michael's Stephanie Kyriacou, when the 72-hole tournament gets underway on Thursday.
Kyriacou captured the hearts of golf fans across Australia when as an unheralded 19-year-old, she trounced a field that contained the best of the Ladies European Tour and a smattering of LPGA stars.
This week's tournament will see the event Televised LIVE on Kayo/ Foxsports over three days from Friday, April 22nd. In addition, the event will be live-streamed on the tournament website, www.auswomensclassic.com.au, on all three days.
