An interesting article appeared in the Age Newspaper, penned by CEO of Golf Australia, James Sutherland. Here in Melbourne, during the COVID-19 forced closure of golf courses, families started utilising the fairways as picnic spots and some are arguing that they should be permanently converted to open public spacing for good. In Sydney, possibly the country’s busiest course has been targeted by the local mayor to close 9 holes down and convert it to public space.
With golf booming since the COVID outbreak, golf’s CEO decided to share his views.
