Tocumwal Trainee Matthew Docking will be looking to claim his maiden state trainee title after victories in the last two trainee events. Another strong contender is Cobram-Barooga Trainee Kai McKay who will try and continue his recent good form which saw him competing in the Von Nida SA PGA Championship at Blue Lake Golf Course, Mt Gambier.
The tournament proper will be played over 72 holes on Tocumwal Golf Club’s Presidents and Captains Course. Round one commences on Tuesday 20th May with a cut to include the top 50 trainees plus ties proceeding through to the final round on Friday 23rd May.

Along with CPM naming rights, A&L Windows, Acushnet, Cadbury Schweppes, Toshiba and new sponsor EZ-GO are supporters of the Championship.
In addition to a week of golf, Trainees will have the opportunity to attend an EZ-GO Education Seminar and Cut Party, Poker night hosted by Tocumwal Golf Club adding to the tournament atmosphere.
