Jason Day was the best placed Australian on the PGA Tour this past weekend, in what proved to be a great few days for Aussies in general.
Day kicked off his 2018/19 season with a Top 5 finish, highlighted by a third round 7 under par, including 5 consecutive birdies and a round closing eagle.
Cameron Smith snared 7th spot in his dream start to the season – he sits in 14th position in the FedEx Cup race. And Adam Scott was the third Australian to finish in the Top 10. His final round was a sensational 9-under 63, including seven birdies, an eagle and bogey free.
Marc Leishman finished T18 after his win the week prior and he leapt to the top of the FedEx Cup standings.
On the Champions Tour, David McKenzie keeps making the cut and the weekend action, finishing T49.
Finally on the Latinoamerica, Harrison Endycott finished a credible T27 after four previous Top 10 finishes in his 5 starts prior.
